I’ve never met Tiffany, but I can tell you that the work she has done for the MS Society has greatly enriched my life. I have been diagnosed with MS for 25 years. To date, the research dollars raised locally and nationally have led to treatments that mean I can still walk short distances and use a scooter. My quality of life has been supported financially and medically by the work that she has done.
When I got my diagnosis, I was very scared. I have learned through the years, though, that people can LIVE with MS. It is nothing like the diagnosis of cancer.
Ironically, my long time friend, Leigh Ann Erickson will continue Tiffany’s legacy. She will do Tiffany’s legacy proud!
I’m sure that your family is grieving. Know that God is with you always and that she has earned a very special place in heaven for the work that she did for others throughout her lifetime.

Dear Jane, Don and Tiffany’s family:
I am so deeply sorry for your loss. I have a wonderful picture of Jane and the girls at my mother’s home in Winchester. I will treasure that picture.
Please know that my prayers are with you and I do wish I were able to say this in person.
I wish I had known about her illness before. I had lost touch with Jane a few years ago.
Take care all of you and may God comfort you in this painful loss. Judging by the pictures on her website, she enjoyed life up till it was all gone. Those children are really beautiful.
Sincerely,
Linda (Pitcher) Hartley

To Tiffany’s Family,
I worked with Tiffany several years ago when she was at ICAAN and I at Indiana Cares. I have talked to her over the years as we both worked in the non-profit world. She was such a bright, caring person. I’m so glad that she had such a wonderful family and the joy of having these two beautiful children. She truly left the world a better place for her being in it. God bless all of you.

Yes I knew I would get the phone call but was hoping for a miracle or that it would be at a much later date. Micha, you will do a terrific job of raising the Askelson boys. Just be strong for them and yourself. I know it will be hard but you are the person to do this job. Anything you need, just call. Tiffanys warrior people will step up to the plate with your needs. Remember you are no good if you do not take care of yourself.
Many hugs and much love,
Deb

From my family with our deepest regrets. Wished I had met this beautiful lady in person. If she was anything like her sister, I know she was one of GOD’s angel. With Love
Dawn OFriel says
Tiffany was still in college when I met her. She was a field canvasser at the Citizen’s Action Coalition and helped train me. She was a passionate, pretty young woman and we worked together in several different capacities over the course of several years. When she began to work with those stricken with AID’s and Indiana Cares, it was very obvious that her life would always be spent serving others. On a lighter note, I remember well her great love of quiche and her beloved cats. Her pumpkin bread recipe (still in my possession, written in her handwriting) is one of my favorites and I think of her every fall when I pull it out of my book to make. Oh, I am truly saddened to her of her untimely death. My sincerest condolences to her husband, children, parents, and sister. I will remember you in my prayers.
Elise Hertz says

only to very sadly learn of her passing.
She will always be remembered as a blessing.
